Today the Statue of Liberty Museum will open on Liberty Island in N.Y. I will never forget, when I was 7 years old, visiting my grandmother on the mainland while my dad was on a Navy ship, she took me to see the Statue and back in those days, we could walk all the way up her arm and stand in the torch. You can’t do that anymore, I’ll never forget it. Love Miss Liberty.
