It’s Movie Review Friday and while Rotten Tomatoes hated it, I liked it, Greta. Greta is set in N.Y. about a very naïve 20 year old girl who finds a woman’s purse on the N.Y. subway and being a sweetie, returns to the middle age widow woman. The two become friends but the friendship turns into a nightmare of terror. People call it campy, but that works if it’s campy and creepy, that’s a great combination. Chole Grace Moretz stars. (Rated R) – (98 Minutes) – (3 Stars). … Tyler Perry’s last Madea movie is about, what else, a family funeral. And to be honest, Tyler is guilty of just going through the motions. It’s not his best, but a decent farewell to a well played franchise. (PG-13) – (100 Minutes) – (3 Stars). … Finally, Apollo 11 is a great documentary about the first trip to the moon with never before seen footage that is breathtaking. We all know they got to the moon and back but you’ll still be on the edge of your seat when you hear, “Houston we have a problem.” Limited release but fabulous (4 Stars).
