Movie Review Friday: They Shall Not Grow Old, is the greatest movie I have ever seen. This 99 minute masterpiece by Peter Jackson is real footage from WW1, 100 years ago, turned into color and lip-synch experts who dub in what these soldiers were saying while fighting the most brutal war in history. It is truly amazing. You’ll have to look for it, a rare (5 Stars). And FYI, always fewer movies released Super Bowl Week.
Movie Nugget: Amazing, The Mule is Clint Eastwood’s 5th Directed movie that has grossed at least $100 Million! And if you take in current inflation adjustment, Clint has directed 15 films that have grossed over $100 million, that is amazing!
TV News: The best mini-series on television this year is I Am the Night on TNT. Based on a true, unbelievable story set in the 1960’s. I’m predicting multiple Emmy and Golden Globe wins. Only one episode has aired, catch a replay on TNT or on demand. Second episode is Monday night, Fabulous.
Final Super Bowl News: Ah, 8 ½ hour TV Pre-Game Show, really? Ridiculous. Celebrity L.A. Ram fans at the game include, Mike Tyson, Ty Burrell, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Celebrity Patriot fans who will be there include Mark Wahlberg, Chris Evans, Elizabeth Banks, Conan O’Brian and Elton John, who lives in Atlanta and is having a party for 200 people Friday night. Reminder, last time the Rams played in the Super Bowl the game was also in Atlanta and the Rams won. Mike Evans Fearless forecast, which is always wrong, Rams win 23-13.
Answer – Seal. One of Oprah’s best friends is Harvey Weinsleaze, and when the story broke about Harvey’s sexual assault and rape accusations, Oprah avoided making any comment. That infuriated Seal who voiced his disgust for her.
