Regarding the Golden Globes: I don’t want my dentist, my grocer, my cleaner, or my mechanic preaching politics to me no matter what way they’re leaning, and I certainly don’t want a bunch of overpaid actors preaching politics to me. And I was shocked! The Globes went off without any celebrities sharing their political thoughts. Green Book, Vice and Bohemian Rhapsody were the big winners. However Star is Born took the pipe.
Odds and Ends: Most bizarre item of the month, Is It True Al Cowlings, best known for driving O.J. Simpson in that slow Bronco chase, is now working as an Uber Driver. Cowlings could drive you, can you imagine Al Cowlings driving you around town slow? … Just making sure we are on the same page, that Geico TV commercials that promote a video of all their crazy commercials and offering a spot in one of their new commercials. Reality check, it’s all a gag, no video, nobody going to get a gig in their TV spots. … If you ever get an invitation to a dinner party at Heidi Klum’s place, jump at it! Heidi is by far, the best celebrity cook. 4 Star Chef. Looks good in a cocktail dress too.
This week, remembering my grandma Neena and some of her best comments like, “My 60-year Kindergarten reunion is coming up and I’m worried about the 150 pounds I’ve gained.”
Answer – Miley Cyrus lives in the H.H.’s ultra-modern home, 2 pools and $3.9 million. Reese Witherspoon’s Ojai country home has 4 buildings cost $7.8 million. Gwyneth lives in a Brentwood white mansion, hundreds of antiques, and $11 million. But its Rihanna’s Pacific Palisades pad overlooking the ocean cost $12 million.
