This week’s Pop Quiz theme, celebrities who are junk food junkies, even brag about it. Today, name the junk food junkie who admits being hooked on sweets, especially chocolate chip cookies and any kind of cupcakes. Is it Cher, Adele, Madonna or Pink?

It’s Movie Review Friday, and please don’t forget, both First Man and A Star Is Born are currently playing and both got 4 Stars, so if you haven’t seen them, you need to. Some of the new films are wide release, all will be released within 10 days. Starting off with The Old Man & The Gun, Robert Redford’s last movie and one of his best movies, its Oscar worthy. So is Redford and co-star Sissy Spacek. (4 Stars). … Open everywhere today, The Hate U Give is another Oscar worthy film, All about Americana, gut feelings, truth, fairness, prejudice and honor. The story of a sensational black girl who is raised in the ghetto but attends a rich Prep school and how she balances the two. But the movie takes a huge twist when her best friend is shot and killed by a white cop but is the cop, negligent, ignorant or hateful and racist. Her allegiance is tested and questioned. A soul-searching movie that’ll grab you by the throat. Starring Amandla Stenberg, who is fabulous. (PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (4 Stars).

Next is WildLife, and the 3 main actors, Jake Gyllenhaal, Carey Mulligan and newbie, 14 year old Ed Oxenbould are incredible. The story is set in the 1960’s in Montana, the husband leaves home to fight fires, his wife is lonely but fiercely independent, and the son is seeing his family dissolve right in front of him. (PG-13) – (100 Minutes) – (3 ½  Stars).

Finally, the Halloween franchise is finally coming to an end, and my old lap dancer, Jamie Lee Curtis is better than ever. (Rated R) – (109 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars).
