Movie Review Friday: Upgrade, stars Logan Marshall-Green who is beyond fabulous as a victim of a horrible mugging that leaves his wife dead and him paralyzed. However, a billionaire’s new stem cell invention turns him into a super hero and is out to get even, and he does! Non stop killer action (Rated R) – (95 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars). … Next, Adrift. A true story about a newly dating couple who take a job sailing a yacht from Tahiti to San Diego. It all starts off beautiful, until they run head-on into the biggest hurricane to ever hit the Pacific Ocean. There are some breathtaking effects, a heart warming story, gut wrenching romance. Fabulous! Stars Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. (PG-13) – (100 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars).

Love Nuggets: Kenny Goss was George Michael’s partner for 15 years and close friend until George passed. He says George promised him a substantial amount of his estate when he passed. However, Fadi Fawaz was George’s partner the past 5 years till George‘s death and Fadi says Kenny deserves nothing. This is going to court and will take a year to sort out. I’ll keep you posted. … Speaking of kids, Caitlyn Jenner has retained an adoption attorney to look into adopting a baby with her 21 year old girlfriend. Let’s see, Caitlyn is 68, and would be 93 when the child graduated college. That’s using all the runway folks.
