Movie News: Tom Hanks has always wanted to do a western and loves working with director Robert Zemeckis, and he’s going to get both! Zemeckis directed, Cast Away and Forrest Gump and this project could be an Oscar contender. News of the World, set in 1880, has Hanks going from town to town promoting the 15th Amendment that would allow all races to vote, at the same time traveling with an orphaned girl. Release date 4th July, 2020.
News Nugget: You’ve heard about the Golden State Killer. Escaped capture for 42 years, but caught a couple weeks ago and expected of killing at least 18, raping over 50. Now two sidebars, #1 HBO already plans a documentary, but they better hold off, #2 California officials believe there are convicted murderers in prison, that are innocent, and DNA will prove Golden State killer did it.
