Regarding the king of sexual abuse, Harvey Weinstein’s company is currently going through bankruptcy and a lot of creditors aren’t getting paid, and a lot of stars aren’t getting paid, including Margot Robbie, Robert De Niro, Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lawrence. And some office personal haven’t been paid, including Malia Obama who worked at the company for 6 months.
Huge, huge opening on Broadway tonight at one of my favorite theaters, the old St. James Theater, Walt Disney’s Frozen. Tickets are going faster than any other Broadway show in last 4 years. Stars Cass Levi and Jelani Aladdin. If you have kids and are going to be in New York in next 9 months, go! Tickets from $99 to $999.
American Idol is about to get really ugly. You already know that the ratings are in the toilet, mainly due to choir boy Ryan Seacrest being accused of sexual misconduct and Judge Katy Perry being responsible for making nuns homeless and one of those nuns got so upset in court by Katy taking their home, she had a heart attack and died! Now, word there will be huge demonstrations when the show gets to Hollywood for the Finals. That could mean Idol Out. Personally I can’t stand watching phony Seacrest or the heartless Katy Perry. It’s a disaster. And, The Voice is killing Idol in ratings.
Programming Note: I am flying to Dallas tonight, so mp3 tomorrow and back live on Monday from Dallas. That reminds me, if flying really is the safest way to travel, why do we have to start and end at a terminal? Just asking.
