Two Movie Reviews: And I can finally review, Pixels which is pitiful! Sandler, Kevin James and Josh Gad ruled the arcade games in the 80’s, so when those games invade earth now, these 3 guys are ready! Unfortunately this movie is really bad, it’s hideous, horrible script, sophomoric graphics and just not funny! In a word, pitiful! The only folks who will enjoy this film are kids under 10, and since it’s Rated PG13 even that option is gone. 2 miserable hours. (1 Star)
Southpaw, stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams. The film tells the story of a washed up Champion boxer, and I love this movie! Gyllenhaal is fabulous, Oscar worthy! The script is solid. The plot is compelling! And it’s not all boxing, also a touching story of a girl and her dad! The boxing scenes are graphic, but realistic! It is a feel good movie that will tap into all your emotions! (Rated R) – (2 Hours) – (3 Stars)
