Movie weekend update: Hunger Games: Catching Fire is 4 Stars, Nebraska 3 ½ Stars. Best Man Holiday also opens today with Terrence Howard but the only reason to see this if the other 2 are sold-out. And be on the lookout for, Longshot – Kevin Laue Story a great documentary about a kid who fought all kinds of odds including only having one arm, yet played Division 1 basketball. (4 Stars)
TV News: The Discovery Science Channel will feature it’s first feature film Saturday, The Challenger Disaster, an in depth look of the Challenger explosion. This is a great film starring William Hurt and Brian Dunphy. I lost a friend on the Challenger, astronaut Ellison Onizuka from Hawaii. Talked to him 2 weeks before the disaster.
Odds and Ends: Lady Gaga admits she is seeing a shrink and says she has been hearing crazy voices for years. Maybe it’s those crazy voices telling her to wear those stupid cloths. … Looking at some odd celebrities that once dated like Roger Ebert and Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruz and Cher, Prince and Kim Basinger. My favorite is still Christina Applegate and Brad Pitt who, went to the MTV Awards, and Christina was so fed up with Brad’s ego, she excused herself, went to the bathroom, and got a ride home from another guy.
