Movie Review: Lee Daniel’s The Butler is a true story of Eugene Allen the White House Butler for 8 Presidents. But, more fascinating than the President’s he served and his relationship with each one, is Eugene and his black family living in segregated America! Their struggles, conflicts and each others beliefs. A stellar cast includes, Robin Williams, Forrest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, Oprah and many others. The actors are solid, but it’s the stories that makes this a truly great movie. You’ll laugh, cry and hate to see it end.
(Rated PG-13) – (132 Minutes) – (4 Stars) What’s sad, as good as this is, Kick-Ass 2 will probably be #1 this week, not The Butler.
