Movie Review: Pacific Rim is the loudest, most confusing, anything goes sci-fi ever! A portal in the Pacific Ocean opens up to releases monsters from an under water world, and for years earth battles these super brain, gigantic violent monsters. This film doesn’t care about a storyline, logic, or anything else just blow-em-up, shoot-em-up, ear piercing chaos. But it does it well. (Rated PG-13) – (131 Minutes) – (2 ½ Stars)
TV Review: Tonight on Comedy Central, a hilarious new show called, Drunk History! Each episode re-enacts a historical moment from Elvis meeting President Richard Nixon to the Patty Hearst kidnapping, the Watergate break-in to Harry Houdini’s death on stage. Stars like Adam Scott, Jack Black, Winona Ryder and Alfred Molina act out the scenes, but the hook is the actually drunk comedians just off stage narrating what’s going on and lip-syncing the actors word, and yes I said they are drunk. Hilarious.
TV News: Jay Leno’s numbers have never been bigger, 18-49 demo is huge and rumor is, Jimmy Fallon may take over for Jay later than originally scheduled. … It’s unbelievable, 3 of the Big Brother contestants just keep using racial slurs.
Odds and Ends: That idiot Justin Bieber made fans wait 3 hours before showing up at his Des Moines concert. Then didn’t do a full show. Jerk, party of one. … Lady Gaga’s former management team is suing her and they have something so big on Gaga, it happened before she was famous that Gaga’s attorneys say, if the court doesn’t keep this information private, if it get’s out, it will ruin her career. What’s that all about.
