Oscar News: There will be a lot more musical numbers this year, including songs by CZJ, Jenifer Hudson and Barbra Streisand just to name a few. Personally I’d rather more comedy than music. Also, Seth MacFarlane will keep the ABC-TV delay guy busy, some of Seth will be X Rated.
The day after the Oscars, Seth will start per-production on what he calls the funniest western since Blazing Saddles. He wrote it and will co star with Charlize Theron.
And the day after the Oscars, Jenifer Lawrence will head to Kualoa Hawaii to wrap up the shooting of “Hunger Games Catching Fire”. Kualoa is next to my favorite Hawaiian towns, Ka’aawa, Hawaii. Also in Hawaii, tomorrow, Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band will entertain the troops at Kaneohe Marine Base.
TV News: Great show debuting tonight, Glory Hounds. On the Animal Planet, a show about heroic military dogs in Afghanistan and Iraq (4 Stars). … They are trying to put another Celebrity Bowling Show together, a special for charity. The best celebrity bowlers are, John Goodman, Joaquin Phoenix, Justin Bieber and believe it or not, Taylor Swift.
The Nokia Theater next to Staples has great shows and concerts, but it has also become the place Hollywood grieves. It’s where they had Michael Jackson’s Memorial and this afternoon, a memorial for one of L.A.’s most loved guys, Laker owner Jerry Buss.
Odds and Ends: First Michael Jackson’s son, Prince did a skint on E.T. Now scoop, Micheal’s beautiful daughter, Paris may do a high fashion magazine spread.
