Report for Tuesday, Feb 4th

Promise this will be my final comment on the Grammys which I have never been a fan. The big news from Sunday’s show, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift were shut out, no awards. I was happy to see Kendrick Lamar win 5 Grammys, and he left the Beverly Hilton Hotel by private jet to New Orleans immediately where he will be the Super Bowl Entertainment!

Speaking of the Super Bowl, yes, if the Kansas City Chiefs win Sunday they will be the first team ever to three-peat, win 3 straight Super Bowls. However, they won’t be the first NFL team to win 3 Championships in a row. The Green Bay Packers have won 3 championships in a row twice, in 1929-1930 and 1931! And they did it again in 1965, 1966 and 1967! They just weren’t called Super Bowls then! By the way, the first Super Bowl was in 1967, was there! At the coliseum but it wasn’t called the Super Bowl till 1969 when the Jets beat the Colts in Super Bowl 3. It was the 3rd time the NFL played the AFL for the championship!

Media News: What, no more Superman? Could be. Superman was the brain child of Joe Shuster in 1938. After his death, Joe’s brother and sister negotiated a deal with Warner Bros. But now Joe’s estate say they didn’t have the right to negotiate the rights for themselves, and are in court, and this threatens to stop the new Superman movie July! Stay Tuned.

Television News: Hey I’m just the messenger but both items are news worthy for you. Something called the Faulkner Focus on the Fox News Cable Channel had 2.552 million viewers and beat The View which is on ABC-TV who had 2.508 million viewers! … And the GOP is suing CBS and 60 Minutes for editing videos of a Kamala Harris to fit the network’s narrative. There are laws against that, Intentional News Distortion and the other is Deceptive News Practices. It’s like False Advertising but much more serious!
