Love Nugget: So a couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce nuggets. While some outlets made a big deal that Travis made Taylor wait about an hour on their private jet after the game Monday, it was no biggie. This is the bye week for the Chiefs and there were team meetings and other odds and ends before the players were all released. Now the hot scoopage, after the game, Troy Aikman said he heard they were already engaged, which I’ve been saying for a months. Does Troy listen to me? And some teammate are second guessing they could get married during the bye week, I doubt that very seriously.
Movie News: So Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves did a publicity stunt to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of their great movie, Speed that dropped in 1994. In 1997 they did a sequel, Speed 2, and they were pressed if there would be doing a Speed 3. Ah, doubt that’ll happen. The first Speed cost $30 million to make, made $360 million. Speed 2 cost $160 million to make and made $164 million. Translation, only made 4 million. From one of the biggest hits in the 90’s to one of the biggest bombs in the 90’s!
Show Biz Business: Yankee great Derek Jeter has opened his own production company that will make family friendly documentary’s and sports related projects and documentaries. Jeter wore #2 when he was a Yankee, and was the captain of the team so also wore a big C on his jersey, and the name of his news company is Cap 2!
TV News: Seth Meyers has a special coming to HBO on October 26th. The special is called, Dead Man Walking, he talks about parenting, but to be honest it’s not that funny! … And hearing great things about Saturday’s Saturday Night Live, which will be hosted by Ariana Grande, and the musical guest Stevie Nicks. I’ll stay up for that for sure.
