Report for Friday, Sept 13th

It’s Movie Review Friday but today’s report’s a little different, serious, news about Southern California I believe you need to hear.

As you know Southern California has been my home most of my life and for the last six months I have told you of the increasing earthquakes! Yesterday the tenth earthquake in the last six months struck, this time Malibu, a 4.7.  For years experts at Cal Poly Rector seismology State University have warned, it’s just a matter of time before the big one hits. Some say beach communities could fall in the ocean. I’ve also told you about Souther California’s very hot, dry and windy weather. Well today hundreds of thousands of acres are on fire in Souther California. I’m telling you this is a very scary time in Los Carpulous, sewer by the sea! And there’s more, the most beautiful place in Souther California isn’t Malibu, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica or Newport Beach, it’s the tiny community of Palos Verdes, located on the cliffs between Redondo and Long Beach. Because of constant land movement, water, gas and electricity lines are being destroyed underground! Home owners are being evacuated every week.

Happy Movie News: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is still out there are really great. Reagan is also running everywhere, but two new movies I love and recommend, the first, Am I Racist? A comedy, documentary many will love, some will hate. But a great movie. Hilarious, courageous, shocking, appalling and very entertaining! Matt Walsh meets with real people and everybody has an opinion, you’ll love it or hate it (PG-13) – (90 Minutes) – (4 Stars). … Next, Speak No Evil, is a better remake about two very different families that vacation together. Full of suspense, creepy, freaky and believe me it will scare hell out of you! James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis and the kids are great (Rated R) – (3.5 Stars)!

Next week’s report will originate from Hilton Head, South Carolina!
