Movie News: Elton John: Never Too Late, is a documentary that Elton narrates with vintage film digging deep in the highs and lows of his 50 year career! The movie will debut in The United States in November, and will stream on Disney+. The projects sponsored by American Express and American Express are planning other great documentaries! Other names we are hearing, Bono, James Taylor and Mick Jagger. … And Travis Kelsey will star with Adam Sandler in the action comedy, Loose Cannons. Reportedly they will play two police officers who are running wild for the good guys.

Movie Sidebar, as of yesterday Rotten Tomatoes has added another reviewing system, It’s called the Popcorn Meter. Rating Very Hot, Hot, and Stale.

TV News: This is a tasty nugget! Do you like Chick-fil-A ? Well get ready for the Chick-fil-A streaming channel. They will specialize in reality shows, documentaries and in-house made family friendly films. Have you tried their peach shake? Sounds great.

Everyday this week, I am going to give you two or three of the best movies by category all made, according to the Hollywood Reporter, during the Golden Age of Movies, which was the 1970’s and all these movies are streaming! Today’s categories, Best Musical, Best Love Story and Best Mystery. We start with Best Mystery, and one of my favorite movies, Chinatown directed by Roman Polanski and staring Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway and John Houston. The story of gritty 1937 Los Angeles with politics, sex, double dealings and deceit, and lots of mystery! Best Love story movies, The Way We Were and Love Story, bring a handkerchief. And best Musical, Cabaret starring Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey.

Odds and Ends: Janet Jackson will be doing a residency in Las Vegas come December. I wish her well, but my question, is there a market for a Janet Jackson residency in Vegas?
