Report for Friday, Aug 9th

Big Scoopage: Next week on Peacock a new documentary called, Gary, the biopic of Gary Coleman! When he was starring in the original Different Strokes, there was no actor bigger, If you’ll excuse the pun! As Gary would say, what you talking about Mike? Was Gary murdered? His life and death was surrounded by mystery and a lot of this documentary will shock you. Gary died when he was 42 years old and Is It True just prior to his death, Johnnie Cochran was about to blow the lid off his Gary’s story.

Movie Review Friday: Colleen Hoover is a great novelist and her romantic books are the rage, mainly with women. Her first book to go to the big screen is, It Ends With Us. The director and male lead is Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively is great in the female lead! Love comes, love goes, there’s a new love who won’t leave, and it’s a little slow! It’s only so-so and too chick flick for me, sorry! (Rated PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (2 Stars).

Movie News: This is strange, Wolfs, a comedy starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney was scheduled for a four week theater run on September 20th, will now will be released for only seven days in November so to be Oscar eligeble, and then go to Apple streaming. But there’s more, there has already been a sequel ordered. Very strange.

Sports Shorts: If you have the NFL Network and care about preseason games, you are going to be busy. Of all the games on this weekend, the only game I’ll watch, Cowboys and Rams on Sunday.

TV News: After tentatively agreeing, Steve Martin decided not to play VP wannabe Minnesota Governor Tim Walz saying he doesn’t do impressions or politics.
