This will be our last report of the week, and a early happy Fourth of July!
If you are planning on going to the movies this long weekend, may I first suggest Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot. This is one of the best movies of the year. A true story about under privileged and abused children and a foster system that is badly broken. And it’s not just the story, great directing and acting through out! My first 5 Star movie!
The kids, can’t miss with Despicable Me 4, that opens nation wide today (4 Stars).
Still playing and worth seeing A Quiet Place: Day One. And for you who like a great story but don’t mind a slow, detailed and very long movie, Kevin Costner’s film, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter One, is still playing as well.
Also want to recommend a very goofy but very funny movie debuting on Prime/Amazon called Space Cadet. When a little girl living in Florida sees a Cape Canaveral launch she dreams of becoming an astronaut. When she graduates High School, and becomes a bar tender with a life going no-where, she dreams up the idea of following her dreams and creates an astronaut application declaring she is a doctor, top graduate of MIT, Nobel Prize Winner runner up and a lot more. And she is excepted in the astronaut training program with hilarious results! Emma Roberts stars, I’m giving it (3 Stars).
Great news, 94 year old Clint Eastwood had been under the weather but 10 days ago Clint walked his 27 year old daughter down the aisle. Good for Clint.
Personal Comment: Everybody hearing me should remember, with all the problems, we are still living in the greatest country in the history of the world. Happy Fourth of July, talk to you on Monday!
