Report for Friday, May 31st

Movie Review Friday: And once again I disagree 100% with Rotten Tomatoes! The movie is Ezra, that drops today. I’ll give you Rotten Tomatoes rating and my rating after I tell you about the film. Based on a true story about an 11 year old boy with autism, played brilliantly by the newcomer, William Fitzgerald. Bobby Cannavale is fabulous playing Ezra’s father! Ezra’s mother is played by Rose Byrne. His Grandfather played by Robert De Niro. The cast also includes Rainn Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg. When Cannavale’s character takes his son on a cross country trip seeking to help his son’s condition, you, the audience, goes along for the ride. The trip is hilarious, touching, compassionate and memorable. Great story telling, and the acting is solid! (Rated R) – (100 Minutes) – (3.5 Stars). Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 66%!

Quick Legal Notes: Told you Alec Baldwins dismissal request would be denied, and it was! … And now Scott Peterson’s lawyers have asked the California superior court for a retrial. For Scott, already convicted for murdering his pregnant wife Lacy, prediction, denied! … Once a scumbag always a scumbag. So when O.J. Simpson found out he had cancer, he stopped paying all taxes, knowing and joking that by the time he died, all the money he had hidden would go to tax lines thus keeping the Browns and Goldman’s from a penny!

Most ridiculous item of the week. Cate Blanchett is whining she too is affected by higher grocery prices, because she, like many others is one of the middle class! For the record, Kate Blanchett’s net worth is $94,750,000. Since when is $94,750,000 middle class?

Scoopage: You will get a report everyday next week, but they will originate from Palm Springs. A week of golf, wine, family, old friends and lots of great food!
