Love Nugget: What the heck did Ben Affleck mean yesterday when he said his marriage with Jennifer Lopez is over and he only wishes there was a way he could divorcing her on the grounds of, temporary insanity? What does that mean? Then Affleck continued by saying “the marriage was just a fever dream.” Again, what does that mean, they have been married almost two years, I don’t get it!
Legal Nugget: So on Friday, Alec Baldwin’s attorney’s demanded that the involuntary manslaughter against Alec be dismissed. The judge took it under advisement and will announce his decision tomorrow. Want to bet? I say it will be denied!
2 Kevin Costner Notes: First, his movie Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter One has been shown at the Cannes Film Festival and received a 12 minute standing ovation. Costner stars, wrote and directs the 3 hour film that will open on June 28th. The movie begins the day the Civil War ends, and follows some of the hundreds of thousands of people over the next 15 years who fled West, the confederates, union soldiers, deserters and their interactions with each other and the American Native Indians. Costner also highlights, how important a part women played during this period. I can’t wait for its release. F.Y.I. the budget for this film was $100 million and Costner financed all $100 million! … Second, Yellowstone started shooting the fifth and final season yesterday in Montana. And I’m hearing Kevin Costner will not be in it. When producers were asked if that was true, they would only say no comment. Well obviously it’s true, no Kevin Costner!
Quick Movie Note: Jim Henson Idea Man, is a biography/documentary that is directed by the late Jim Henson’s best friend, Ron Howard. It will be in limited released this weekend, and wide release next month, then to streaming. Again, I can’t wait.
