One movie review today, another true story that will bring tears and smiles to your face. It opened last week in limited release, open everywhere now, Ordinary Angels. If you want a movie that will make you forget your own problems, if you want a movie that will make you feel good and give you faith in society, then take the family to see Ordinary Angels! A widower, a sick child, a town with a heart, and again it’s true. Great performance by Oscar winner Hilary Swank and an excellent performance by television’s Reacher, Alan Ritchson (Rated PG) – (1 Hour 58 Minutes) – (4 Stars).
If you don’t want to get out this weekend, I have a great movie that was released 57 years ago this week. Directed by the great Mel Brooks, a comedy that has a plot that would still fly today. One of my Top 20 movies of all time, The Producers! Streaming almost everywhere. That the hot tip of the week!
Speaking of movies, there are 661 AMC theaters in the United States that house 8,188 screens. And AMC would have lost a ton of money last year, but instead they made a ton of money last year for two reasons. Taylor Swift’s Eras Concert flick and Beyonce’s flick.
