I was going to do my whole report on the shooting at the Kansas City Chief Victory Parade. But I’ve decided to drop just one inside sidebar. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in contact with most of the NFL owners yesterday as the story played out. And you can make bet, there will be no more NFL Victory Parades. Now the shooting may have had nothing to do with football, could have been gang on gang or something unrelated. I’ve been to a couple of these victory Parades over the years and thought to myself, with a couple hundred thousand people crammed into an open space in a downtown area, the open rooftops, you had to worry someday, some nut or nuts would do something horrible, and it was yesterday. Take it to the bank, no more Super Bowl Victory Parades.
By the way, before the shooting Travis Kelce made a complete fool of himself. While on the main stage and thousands watching, Kelce wrestled the microphone from his teammates. He was falling down drunk, cussing, screaming, yelling, just a shameful embarrassing performance. Prediction, Taylor Swift dumps him like a bad habit. So sad.
