Report for Tuesday, Nov 28th

Bear with me, three items not associated with Hollywood but interesting enough to share! #1 California authorities say the newest crime to hit the state is Steal/crash/ and grab! It’s when crooks steal a car, crash it into a closed store, quickly grab all they can, then get into a waiting car that followed them, leave the stolen car in the smashed store and it all takes 10 minutes and their gone! … #2 I hate politics, but a friend who works that beat called to say, Fox news dude, Sean Hannity and California Governor Gavin Newsom are best friends. That’s odd. … #3 A rare sports nugget. With out the great players like Ty Law, Gronk, Edelman, Hannah, Brady and I could go on and on, the Patriots are 2 and 9! So it appears their ego maniac, rude cocky coach Bill Belichick isn’t the genius he’s been taking credit for all these years! Players win games, coaches just help.

John Travolta was great in Grease, Pulp Fiction, Saturday Night Fever and Get Shorty, but it’s been a long spell since he’s had a blockbuster. He has had some horrible tragedies in his life, the death of his son Jett, more recently the death of Kelly Preston, who he was married to from 1991 to 2020. Now word that his next movie, ironically titled, That’s Amore is likely to be his last movie. John will soon turn 70 and has said he would retire at 70 and spend his time flying his jets and spend time with his family.

TV News: So Netflix who has lost subscribers but raised prices thus keeping their stocks solid has signed Kim Kardashian for a sitcom called, The Fifth Wheel! Sorry, I don’t see people clamoring for a Kim Kardashian sitcom but that’s just me. … Sorry to hear Steve Colbert’s appendix exploded. He’s in the hospital but will be Okay. And speaking of late night shows, they are all terrible. Stop the politics and get back to the Carson, Letterman and Leno formats, great interviews, skits, and funny.
