At the Macy’s Parade, they rolled out 77 year old Cher, who did a horrible lip sync and looked like a stiff mannequin. Then a few hours later, 77 year old Dolly Parton all dressed up in a skimpy Dallas Cowboy cheerleader uniform performed at the Cowboys game and looked unbelievably good, no great. 77 years old!
Love Nuggets: Is it true, Jamie Lynn Spears is getting sick and tired of her sister Britney taking shots at her, and Jamie Lynn may write a tell all book about Britney? … No surprise here. Jamie Foxx released a statement officially saying he denies the sexual assault accusations against him. Well of course he does. I mean he may very well be innocent. I have no idea, but he had to put out that statement and it was expected.
Movie News: Despite no real stars, The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, dominated the holiday box office. Meanwhile, Napoleon, with huge stars which was expecting to do about $100 million domestic, did a sad $36 million. And the Disney movie, Wish, didn’t come true. Expecting $70 million, it did only $31 million. Most interesting, this proves big stars no longer guarantees big box office.
Head’s Up: Opening this Friday, Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, and I’m hearing it’s better than Taylor’s movie. Beyonce’s film being called brilliant and ground breaking.
Odds and Ends: Meghan Markel is popping off again, says members of the Royal Family are raciest! Someone tell Meghan, shut-up! And setting the record straight, she’s also ragging Harry’s dad, King Charles, for taking away the keys of Frogmore Cottage, where Harry and Meghan stay when in England. Frogmore Cottage is paid for by the taxpayers, exclusively for the Royal Family. When Harry denounced any involvement with the Royals, he gave that up!
