Report for Tuesday, Oct 10th

A lot of TV News starting with a review. The all new Frazier returns October 12th on Paramount+. Look, I liked Frazier and this tries to be the same old but it’s not. Frazier’s son is now a full grown man, former brilliant David Hyde Pierce and John Mahoney are not part of the reboot. I loved the old show, but honestly I don’t know about the new one. Again, debuts October 12th and F.Y.I. only 10 episodes guaranteed. … You can stick a fork in Magnum, P.I. As you know I am from Kaimuki, Oahu, Hawaii and while I liked this Magnum alright, I loved the original with Tom Selleck. I use to play in a media softball league back when the old Magnum was going on and Tom Selleck and his crew had a team we played against. Great times, great fun.

Odds and Ends: Woody Harrelson will star in the dark comedy play, Ulster American in London this winter. Saying he loves doing legitimize theater. This outrages controversial satiric comedy is perfect for Harrelson. And scoopage, I hear this play could be moving with Woody to Broadway next winter. … So you are going to hear a lot of news Barbara Streisand’s autobiography coming out November 7th called, My Name Is Barbra. Where she goes in great detail about her religion, her politics, her loves, her hates and more. I have one question, really, honestly, who cares about Barbra Streisand? … Sportscaster Al Michael’s who I first met when he was doing play by play for the minor league Hawaiian Islanders baseball team, brags, he’s never eaten a vegetable? That’s odd.

Celebrities who are most devoted to their religion and are very public about it. Christians, Chris Pratt and Mark Wahlberg. Judaism, Natalie Portman and Maya Rudolph. Buddhist, Sharon Stone and Orlando Bloom. Hinduism, Will Smith and Russell Brand. Scientologist, Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Atheists, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt. Side bar, Cheryl and I were married at the South Haven Baptist Church where Brad went as a teen, and where his family still attends.
