Report for Friday, Sept 1st

Movie Review: It’s the end of The Equalizer franchise and Equalizer 3 is the best one! Denzel Washington has never been better. It’s calculated, planned, subtle revenge! Big surprises mixing old school with new twists. Good versus evil and you’ll love it! The film was shot in Italy and it’s never looked better and the cinematography is fabulous. And Washington plays one bad ass and co-star Dakota Fanning is also fabulous. (Rated R) – (1 Hour 49 Minutes) – (3.5 Stars). Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors and here’s some Denzel trivia! He was named Denzel after the doctor who delivered him. He went to a Military High School, he attended Fordham University and received a Journalism degree. While attending a Fordham Alum function, got to know another Fordham grad and became best friends, former Los Angeles Dodger announcer, Vin Scully. Denzel’s best friend, Julia Roberts.

I like two faith based films that are playing, The Hill and Sound of Freedom, both 2.5 Stars. Don’t let me catch you wasting your money on the film, Strays, live action film about real dogs voiced by Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx. Vulgar, stupid and not funny.

The three rudest celebrities according to publicist are #3 Michael Jordan, #2 Tom Cruise and  #1 Adam Levine. Three nicest celebrities #3 Tom Hanks, #2 Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, #1 Keanu Reeves.

We are like family and want to share, I had Covid a month ago, after testing negative, I got what they call brain fog. It comes and goes, lasts from a few minutes to a few hours. Dizziness and confusion are a couple symptoms, could last weeks or months. Can’t wait till it passes. Several celebrities have it, Gwyneth Paltrow, Simon Cowell, Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish to name a few. Don’t get it, you don’t want it.

Finally, studios have called scheduled negotiations this Labor Day Weekend, how ironic is that? And speaking of, what are you doing for Labor Day?
