Report for Friday, July 14th

Honest, I had no idea yesterday when I predicted it was just a matter of time before Disney would sell off it’s assets, then just seven hours later Disney President Bob Iger said Disney would most likely sell it’s television interests, and I guarantee this is just the beginning. It may take time but Disney will be liquidated, it’s just a matter of time.

Then a few hours later SAG voted to strike and just like that, Hollywood is dead! Prediction, Mission Impossible, Barbie and Oppenheimer will be the only blockbuster movies this summer. And, if technicians go out, even the NFL could be effected. This is not good folks.

Speaking of Barbie, Johnny Depp has a huge collection of Barbie dolls since he was a kid when he first started acting and used them to prepare for his acting rolls, I kid you not. And speaking of Barbie the film, star Margot Robbie really got into it. She demanded one day a week all the cast and crew, even the caterer had to wear pink and she checked to make sure, and if she caught you without wearing pink you were fined with all the money going to the charity Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.

Here’s a couple real Odds and Ends: Halle Berry, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone, Hilary Swank, Kelly Clarkson and Tyler Perry, all of these stars were at one time homeless, no money, forced to live in a shelter or free with a friend! … Kevin Spacey’s trial could end later today in London, and The Telegraph and The Sun newspapers both predict Spacey will be found guilty. Meanwhile Spacey took the stand and made jokes, said he was just a big flirt, a romantic at heart and nothing happened, that it was no big deal. Ah, I don’t see that as a good defense but we will see. … And let’s end with a crazy question. Other than race horses, what is the most expensive animal an actor has bought, and bought it. He said to help his acting. Answer – Nick Cage spent $243,000 for an octopus. I don’t make this stuff up folks.
