Imelda use to frequent Times Grocery store the same store I shopped at in Kahala, it was very weird! Ferdinand and Imelda had been granted exile status after being thrown out of the Philippines. Imelda was living on Kalanianaole Highway in Aina Haina, joke back then was, There goes the neighborhood. That reminds me, while Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream are demanding the United States give back the land they cockroached from the Native Americans. Well, how about January 1893 when President William McKinley had American armed forces forcibly overthrow the sovereignty nation of Hawaii and forced Queen Liliuokalani from her home and Palace.
