Report for Monday, Feb 27th

First an apology, a bo-bo from Saturday Night Live told me Saturday’s edition with Woody Harrelson as the host and was going to be one of the best S.N.L.’s in years, I shared that with you, then I watched it and it was beyond hideous. I apologize.

Box Office News: Cocaine Bear made $23 million through Saturday but the big shock was Jesus Revolution that Hollywood Reporter projected would make close to $6.5 million through Saturday, brought in a whopping $15.7 million.

Imagine my shock Saturday when my old bosses at the New York Post texted me a bulletin marked exclusive, that Riley Keough and her grandmother Priscilla Presley were no longer speaking because Priscilla is suing for even more money from Lisa’s estate. Ah, we had that last Tuesday, hardly an exclusive on Saturday.

TV News: James Corden’s late show on CBS has been canceled. Story around CBS’s Television City on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, that CBS President Amy Reisenbach was over heard saying, “If I yelled out my office window, I’d have more listeners that Corden!”

Real Estate News: Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have leased a tiny, 1 Bedroom apartment in the St. James Palace built by King Henry the 8th, back in the 16th Century. The flat cost $6,000 a month.

And 90 year old Yoko Ono after 57 years has moved from The Dakota in New York City to a 600 acre farm in the Catskills in upstate New York, a property John bought in 1975. Yoko is now confined to a wheel chair.

Crime Docket: Friday Harvey Weinsleeze got an additional 16 years after being found guilty of three more rape charges in Los Angeles, added to the 23 years already sentenced in New York. … But what’s up with R. Kelly only getting one year for enticing minors into illegal sexual activity. What the hell is that, only one year?! … The Alec Murdaugh murder trial will rap up this week, and another great N.Y. Post front page headline after Alec took the stand, “How To Get Away with Murdauh!” My prediction, he won’t get away with murder, he’ll be found guilty.
