Report for Tuesday, Jan 10th

Love Nugget: Despite their denials, Scottie Pippin’s ex-wife, 48 year old Larsa and Michael Jordan’s 32 year old son, Marcus are a serious item. Been dating for 9 months and have been spotted together in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and Cabo, and lots of personal displays of affection.

TV News: Ratings are in for the 60 Minutes Prince Harry interview on Sunday and it spiked with 1.3 million more viewers than the week before. And here’s a bizarre twist, Anderson Cooper got the interview because it was learned Anderson’s great uncle had a torrid affair with Harry’s great great aunt. I don’t make this stuff up folks.

Movie News: There will be a Gladiator sequel and Ridley Scott will direct, however Russell Crowe will not play Maximus. Since Russel is pushing 60, and while Russell was in great shape for the original Gladiator, Russell has some miracle whip spread now.

Golden Globes are tonight, but again, not much interest and guarantee the ratings will be in the toilet. For the record, I do believe Avatar will be an easy winner and best actress will go to Ana De Armas for Blonde, best actor should go to Brendan Fraser for The Whale. By the way, also nominated for best picture is The Banshees of Inisherin starring Colin Farrell. As I’ve mentioned many times, hey I’m just one guy and my wife doesn’t agree with me all the time, but that artsy fartsy movie is a waste of 2 ½ hours. Just thought it my duty to let you know (1 Star).

California News: I’ve been saying the Pineapple Express rain storms from Hawaii were barring down on California and it has effected a lot of TV and movie production. Disneyland and Universal Studios have been effected, 511,000 are out of power. And flooding has caused Tijuana sewage into San Diego’s drinking water. More California, The famed Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the biggest tourist attraction, but also one of the most dangerous. Daily muggings along the 22 blocks and last weekend, a shooting that left 1 dead and 3 others hospitalized. There is another Walk of Fame in Palm Springs, and much safer, better golf and weather but no beaches.
