The Golden Globes are next week and Hollywood have basically turned their back on the Globes for good reason, because of their lack of representation of minorities and women. But the Globes have proudly announced some of their big presenters that include Coleman Domingo, Billy Porter and Nicole Byer, not exactly Hollywood’s biggest names. The Globes will never be the same, they say they’ve changed but it’s too little too late!
Here are the odds for the Acadamy’s Best Picture, Avatar 2-1, Top Gun Maverick 3-1, Elvis 4-1, and The Fablemans, 5-1. All four films are great, recommend you see them all. … Speaking of Elvis, Sunday Elvis would have turned 87 and to celebrate, theaters in Los Angeles, Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas, Toronto and Vancouver will be showing the Elvis movie for free. There will also be a big celebration at Graceland, Elvis dead 46 years and still getting a lot of hunka hunka burning love.
Reminds me, Paul McCartney said he cried out loud when he woke up December 8th and realized it was the 43 Anniversary of John Lennon’s murder. Paul also made a point of calling John’s widow Yoko and John’s son’s Julian and Sean Lennon.
Update on Katie Holmes, daughter Suri and her dad Tom Cruise. Katie will star with John Lithgow in the off Broadway play The Wanderers. Suri had a small part last year in the movie, Alone Together that was written, directed and starred her Mom Katie. However it was never released. Suri turns 17 this year and she is strikingly beautiful. Dad Tom Cruise has had visitation rights to see Suri but hasn’t seen her in over 10 years, reason, she’s a non believer in Scientology. Comment, no comment.
