It’s Time, Avatar: The Way of Water review. This will go down as the greatest movie of all times and the biggest grossing film of all times. The film picks up 10 years after the original the Sully family has grown and so have their adventures. The movie explodes off the screen, taking film making to another level, you wonder what makes James Cameron tick, where and how does he come up with this stuff. One minute you are lulled by the beauty that is breathtaking, the next second you are on thrill ride. The story telling is as good as the special effects. The family searches for happiness while trying to stay alive. I could go on and on but I think you get my drift (PG-13) – (3 Hours 12 Minutes) – (4 Stars).
Got one more movie, a documentary, Jurassic Punk. This is the true story about a guy you’ve never heard of but you know his work. He is Steve Williams, aka Spaz Williams. He is the greatest computer animator of all times. He created never before seen images in The Abyss, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. His computer graphics were ground breaking, and Spaz is a true rebel, a wild crazy guy who always goes against the grain, a party animal and true genius (4 Stars).
The Critics Nominations were announced yesterday and I agree 100% with the top five best pictures, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Babylon, Top Gun: Maverick, The Fabelmans and the eventual winner, Avatar: The Way of Water. James Cameron will win best director, and best actor, Brandon Fraser for The Whale.
From Movies to TV News, Saturday Night Live had it’s biggest ratings last week, over a million viewers, thank you Steve Martin doing his 16th hosting appearance. More rating news, Top 5 Shows last week in the most sought after 18-49 demo were #5 Survivor, #4 60 Minutes, #3 Pac-12 Championship, #2 Big 10 Championship, #1 Sunday Night Football. … The Harry and Meghan docuseries has been the most watched show on Netflix, but other than the whining and complaining, really not much there. I call it boring.
