Sad to report, Cher’s mom Georgia passed away this weekend, she was 96. Georgia was a very sweet lady, much nicer than Cher or Cher’s sister Georganne.
Horrible weekend for Gwyneth Paltrow, Jimmy Fallen, Madonna, Serena Williams, Kevin Hart, Larry David, Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton who have all been named in a multi-billion dollar class action law suit for endorsing, promoting and convincing people to invest in the FTX Ponzi scheme that has gone completely bust and cost investors billions of dollars. F.Y.I. more celebrities may be named.
But it was a great weekend for Taylor Swift who signed a contract with Fox Searchlight to direct a feature film that she also wrote. The script is a secret but I’ll keep you posted. And great week for Saturday Night Live, I thought it was the funniest it’s been in years.
Odds and Ends: Britney is at it again, she posted a two minute video acting all crazy, nasty, sticking her tongue out, flipping off the camera and eating cake off the floor. That was Friday night. On Saturday night Britney went to Jack in the Box and when she pulled up to the window, the employee noticed she had been crying and the caring employee said, “I hope everything’s going to be okay.” Which lead Britney to say, “you don’t know me and I sure don’t know your ass!” That Britney, such a sweetheart. … The Golden Globe nominations will be announce today, excuse me, “Ahhmm.” … Weird Hollywood, Producers Guild of America will give their Lifetime Achievement Award this year, but not to Kathleen Kennedy who gave us the great Star Wars Franchise, not David Heyman who gave us Harry Potter or to Jerry Brookheimer, no, the Producer’s Guild lifetime achievement award to goes Tom Cruise who’s not a producer! Reminds me, while shooting Top Gun, Tom Cruise was named by his own cast and crew, the most foul mouth person they have ever worked with. Is that part of Scientology? … Funniest thing I heard about Harry and Meghan and their documentary, that “Harry and Meaghan are the royal version of the Kardashinan’s but with less class, loyalty and brains.” To me, that is right on.
