Report for Friday, Nov 25th

Today’s report originates from Palm Springs where it will be 78 degrees.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and welcome to Black Friday.

Love Nugget: Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have been dating for months. They down play the relationship, but there’s plenty of personal displays of affection when together. I think they are serious.

TV News: Lifetime has had great success with their ripped from the headlines series. Now green lighted, How To Murder Your Husband, a true story about the successful writer, Nancy Crampton Brophy who penned novels about love stories that turned into murders. She was herself arrested and convicted of killing her own husband. Cybill Shepherd plays her, Steve Guttenberg plays her husband. Steve and I go way back when Steve had a production deal at Paramount and would hang out with him a lot, on the lot. Other Lifetime Headline projects, Bad Behind Bars-Jodi Arias, who killed her boyfriend and F.Y.I. she was once my waitress at the California Pizza Kitchen here in Palm Springs. … And Sherri Papini: I kidnapped Myself, the nut who disappeared for months and said she was kidnapped, which was a lie. All sound like great movies, good for Lifetime!

With ABC moving The Connors to 8 P.M. on Wednesdays, their rating have boomed and there is a strong rumor that George Clooney has agreed to make a return appearance. … And a really interesting four part mini documentary series on Netflix is, Where’s My Jet. Fabulous true story about a bogus promotion by Pepsi-Cola that makes headlines.

Since it’s a holiday week, I have a movie suggestion everyday you can get on line, each one is one of my favorites. Today with Thanksgiving behind us, there’s no better way to get ready for Christmas than the greatest Christmas movie ever, It’s a Wonderful Life. James Stewart, Donna Reed, classic, doesn’t get any better. Amazing, at the time of release it was not a hit! In fact it only made $6 million at the box office.

Hope you had a great holiday, I’m headed home and back in studio on Monday, oh yeah, Merry Christmas!
