Biggest news since we last spoke, the Supreme Court kicking abortion laws back to each state and with Alabama, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia expected to ban abortions until voters votes on it, Universal studios say they won’t shoot at any TV or movies in those states. Same goes for SAG and AFTRA.
Talk about history repeating itself. #1 concert in the world over the weekend was 80 year old Paul McCartney at Glastonbury. Second biggest was The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park, and their combined age is 307 years on earth and the biggest movie world wide was Elvis who has been dead almost half a century! Baby Boomers rule, pass the Geritol and stool softener. Side bar, fans booed McCartney because he only plays 12 Beatle songs in 3 hours.
Interesting, Gislane Maxwell, Jeffery’s Epstein’s partner in sex crimes, is scheduled to be sentenced tomorrow. She is on suicide watch while prosecutors are now offering her a deal if she’ll name names of the men involved with sex with minors, but so far no deal! Again, I predicted she’ll be 12-25 years. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.
Got some more legal news, and talk about a real Clueless Hollywood celebrity. Jussie Smolette went on all his social outlets whining how horrible and unfair his 6 days in jail were. Well just wait, according to an insider close to his case when his appeal process is done, Jussie will be ordered back to jail to serve the entire 144 days remaining at the horrible Cook County jail. No special treatment and won’t be fun poor Jussie.
Odds and Ends: Kylie Jenner wanted to go shopping at the Palm Springs outlet Mall and heaven forbid she have her Limo drive her 2 ½ hours, so she jumped on her $70 million gulfstream 5 jet and flew the 29 minute trip from Van Nuys to Palm Springs. Talk about over paid, over pampered, spoiled, carbon clueless celebrities, this takes the cake.
