Huge primary in California today, including the Mayor of Los Angeles. Paul Caruso is the biggest story, worth $4 billion who owns the 575,000 Sq Ft Grove shopping center, the jewel of L.A. and a lot more. Caruso is running against long time Congress woman Karen Bass. Here’s the hook, Caruso has been a long time republican and only switched to Democrat recently. But Hollywood is supporting Paul Caruso.   

Movie News: Maestro, the life story of Leonard Bernstein who died 22 years ago. His work includes, Ballets, Operas, Broadway musicals, great movie scores like Peter Pan and West Side Story! Directed and staring Bradley Cooper as a young and old Bernstein. … Facing Nolan, will be streaming later this year and it is a great documentary. I got to know Nolan Ryan when I was with the Angels in 1973, I saw his first and second of 7 no-hitters! A real no-nonsense guy on and off the field, and truth be known I had a crush on his wife, Ruth. In my opinion, the best pitcher in baseball history, 324 wins, 3,714 KO’s, and his fastball clocked at over 108 MPH. If you are a baseball fan, this is a must see.

Odds and Ends: If you are a history buff or want to be a collector, there is an auction at rrauction.com on June 23rd and just some of the items going up for bid, autograph Babe Ruth baseball, George Washington, Sitting Bull, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln and George Custer signed letters. And my favorite item, actual lunar soil taken from the moon by Neil Armstrong. That item is expected to go for $475,000.
