Love Nuggets: The Depp/Heard fiasco gets underway again today. I was shocked to see a poll that 91% predict Depp will win and only 9% say Heard. I’m in the minority. Interesting comments made over the weekend by Courtney Love, while she praised Johnny Depp for saving her life when he administered CPR to her when she over dosed years ago. She also said she could felt bad for Amber Heard who she admitted she could identify with her, because she too was once the most hated woman in the world. There was some buzz the defense wanted to call Depp’s great buddy Marilyn Manson who is accused of sexual assault, but would be a hostel witness, so they passed. … Rihanna has announced she will move back to Barbados with her new son next month and raise him there. Rihanna says the United States is no place to raise a child. She’s probably saw the stat that it’s easier to buy fentanyl in America than baby formula.
Movie News: John Travolta may finally have made another good movie titled, American Metal, and will be released Thanksgiving 2023. John plays a family man who has lost his job, broke and desperate and decides to rob a pill mill. But when the robbery gets violent, police and the dixieland mafia are after him and all hell breaks loose. … It is true Pete Davidson is going to Australia to shoot the movie, Wizards, but it is not true Kim is going with him for 3 months. He’ll film for a couple weeks, then come home for a couple weeks.
TV News: And speaking of Pete Davidson, I thought Saturday’s S.N.L. was one of the best of the year. Pete Davidson Music video and Kate McKinnon was hilarious as a woman kidnapped by aliens and her final farewell getting on the space ship. Great stuff. … With the four major networks are getting their butts kicked by the streaming platforms, all four networks combined are adding only 16% new programming. Sad.
