Report for Wednesday, May 18th

Love Nugget: Actually it’s more of a joke, yes, the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial. Yesterday’s highlights or lowlights, there was recorded testimony that hours after Depp’s and Heard’s wedding, Depp said, “Now I can slap the hell out of her.” Amber testified that if she wore cloths that Depp felt was too racy, he would demand she change and if she refused, he would get violent. She also testified, when Depp was out of control and she hid his Rx’s, he would get violent. And the goofiest testimony was video of Amber getting into an elevator with a man, obviously trying to disguise himself but obviously it was actor James Franco on their way to hooking up. What make this so goofy, if anything wouldn’t that make Depp get mad, and probably get violent? I’ve been wrong before but I still say Depp losses this case. They’re both idiots.

Some Tom Cruise News: Tom spends almost all his time in London, in his Surrey home, and although spelled different, I hear his daughter Suri was named after Surrey, England. Tom spends time with his good buddy, Prince William, playing tennis and polo together.

TV News: It it official, there will be another Yellowstone and it will be called, 1932. It will star Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. It will tell how the Denton family got their power and expose secrets that I hear will shock fans. Script still being worked on.

Must See TV: George Carlin’s America Dream, the first of a 4 hour documentary on HBO, debuting Friday. Judd Apatow is the writer, producer and director. It begins with George growing up in catholic schools, then enlisting in the Air Force but got court martialled three times. He worked at a dozen different radio stations doing mornings from Shreveport to Los Angeles, (I heard him at KNX in L.A. He was discovered doing stand-up by Milton Beryl, George was the first ever host of Saturday Night Live, he’s best friends with Bob Newhart and Joe Pesci. All the amazing stories that made George Carlin a one of a kind. Snowflakes need not watch, but you’ll be missing one of the best documentaries of the year. HBO, Friday, you’ve been told.
