Hot Scoop: Those lovers, prison guard Vicky White and accused murderer Casey White led police in an auto chase and crash that ended with Vicky hospitalized and Kasey giving himself up despite promising he’d never give up, and preferred suicide by police. Vicky is in critical condition in the hospital from a self inflicted shot to her head. Will let you know when we find out more.
Love Nugget: Britney Spears is a publicity whore. She called a press conference last weekend saying she and Sam had set a wedding date. But when the media showed up to get the information, they were handed a release saying they would announce that date the day after they are married. Britney’s a jerk, and again like I said a publicity whore.
TV News: Must see TV, The Staircase, is a documentary mini-series about a husband that is charged with killing his wife, although he insists she fell down some stairs at home. This despite a lot of blood and multiple gashes in her head. Fascinating, It’s on Netflix! … Next, debuting last night, another documentary mini-series, Candy, on Hulu with Jessica Biel playing an average housewife in the small town of Wylie, Texas who losses it and lashes out with one of the most bloody axe murders in America’s history, amazing (4 Stars). … The last episode of, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty is available now on HBO. I loved it because I was there and covered it, but a lot of liberties were taken (3 Stars). … This is a news story and TV nugget, U2’s Bono made a surprise appearance and performance in a Kyiv Subway station last weekend to show his support for the people of Ukraine. Now there’s talk that the performance will be turned into a TV special with proceeds going to the war effort. Got to say Bono is one of the really good guys. … On the other hand, I really got into American Idol when it started, but it got bogged down with over produced side stories, the judges acting all crazy, a lot of fluff and all the contestants sound exactly the same. As the say on Shark Tank (which I love), I’m out.
