So Jussie Smollett is screaming the only reason he was sentenced to jail is because he is black. But over the weekend I talked to a half dozen attorney friends and a judge, and asked if it was a reversed and a white actor paid two white guys to dress in blackface and attacked the white actor, making blacks look like the criminals, would that white actor get jail time like Smollett? All agreed a white actor lying about being attacked by blacks would get the maximum of 5 years not 5 months like Smollett. Nuff said! Oh, one more Smollett nugget. Prosecutors are considering charging Jussie with perjury.
