Report for Friday, Feb 18th

Movie Review Friday: Uncharted is a wild and crazy film, based on a video game. It’s about a $5 billion treasure hidden by Magellan in 1501. Rookie treasure hunter Tom Holland joins veteran treasure hunter Mark Wahlberg and the hunt begins! However, they are not alone and the competition will stop at nothing to succeeding! Rotten Tomatoes hated it, I liked it. Leave all logic at home and enjoy this action packed two popcorn film (Rated PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (3 Stars). … Next, Dog, about a military guy played by Tatum Channing who’s assignment is to get his co-star military dog to the dog’s former partner’s funeral and it’s chaos all the way. It’s over acted and a bit corny even for me, but I love dogs (PG-13) – (3 Stars).

Regarding Britney Spears being invited to Congress to discuss conservatorships, mark my words Britney can’t keep it together long enough to do an edited television interview. No way she speaks live in front of Congress with a camera rolling!

Movie Notes: Jim Carrey has only one movie role in next 4 years, is Carry retiring? … There’ve been 12 Harry Potter movies and Daniel Radcliffe has made $120 million from the 12 movies. … This should be one of the biggest movies of the year, Elvis, the life story of Elvis Presley with Austin Butler as Elvis and Tom Hanks as Col. Parker, coming June 24th in theaters only. Should be huge, but then I thought Respect, the Aretha Franklin would be huge.

TV News: Gaslit is a television drama all about the Watergate break-in starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. It’ll be on Starz and Netflix and promises huge surprises. White House Plumbers is a TV drama about the Watergate break-in with Justin Theroux and Woody Harrelson. It will be on HBO and promises huge surprises. Sound familiar.

Hot Scoop: There’s a new high tech video game in the works that would match up the greatest golfers of yesteryear like Ben Hogan versus Tiger Woods, but they would both use the equipment from Ben Hogan’s era. Possible gambling involved. This is 2 years away!
