Movie Review Friday: Clifford the Big Red Dog, is a kids, silly tale about a red puppy and when his little girl owner asks the Veterinarian how big he will get, the Vet says it’s according how much you love him! Well she loves the pup a lot and the pup grows bigger than a 18-wheel mac truck. Cute (Rated G) – (96 Minutes) – (3 Stars). However there are a lot of good movies at theaters, Eternals, Dune, The French Dispatch and Last Night In Soho. All very different, but all getting 3 Stars or better. Personal thought on the theater experience. I don’t need or want ten trailers before the pix.
Today on Apple TV, Will Farrell and Paul Rudd starring in The Shrink Next Door. A one season series, true story, originally a podcast. Described as a dark heartbreaking comedy. The comedy is over powered by the complex, tormented patient (Will Farrell) and the shady shrink played by Rudd. Disturbing and compelling. Apple TV, 3 Stars.
Odds and Ends: In Canada, Tim Hortons Donuts are not just a donut joints, it is a tradition and way of life. There are 3,172 Tim Horton’s known as Timmy’s in Canada, only 1400 McDonalds. And Timmy’s have started a new huge campaign selling their donut holes, and Canada’s Justin Bieber is spearheading the TV advertising campaign. The donut holes are called Timbiebs and Bieber has come up with his own unique flavors including, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Fudge. Hungry?
