I have never liked Katie Couric and her new book proves that all the things I’ve heard about her for 30 years were true. Some of the things she admits in the book are disgusting! Instead of helping other young women coming up, Couric says if they were younger and cuter than her, she went out of the way not to help them. And more disgusting, she admits she knew about Matt Lauer’s sexual misconduct and did nothing. Protecting him while allowing these women to be abused. Even warning Lauer when his wife inquired!
Odds and Ends: Latest on the Gabby Petito/Brian Laundrie story and Dog the Bounty Hunter. On Sunday, Dog had cameras follow him as he waded in swamps in Florida saying Laundrie was close. Meanwhile a hiker swears he talked to Laundry on a remote hiking trail on Saturday in North Carolina, 845 miles away. I predict some break through this week. … Hollywood could be coming to a stand still when the IATSE union, officially known as the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Motion Picture Technicians and Allied Crafts which is 163,000 strong is calling for a strike. 50-50 chance they will.
Finally: A judge has thrown out all lawsuits against against Michael Jackson’s estate brought by the two liars behind the Leaving Neverland documentary. It was 100% bogus.
Everyday this week I’m going to tell you what some celebrity’s did for before becoming famous, not Brad as a Chicken or Whoopi working at a Mortuary. New stuff. For example, Ashton Kutcher swept floors at the General Mills Cheerios factory, Javier Bardem was a bar bouncer and stripper and Danny DeVito was a hair beautician.
How about that MLB? Four teams in American League fighting for two wild card spots, last day of the 162 game season. Results, Red Sox versus Yankees and the Dodgers versus St. Louis are Wild Cards games on Wednesday!
Head’s up, I have my annual and dermatologist appointments tomorrow morning. I’ll let you know what happens but keep your fingers crossed.
