Report for Friday, June 4th

Movie Review Friday: You know how much I loved A Quiet Place Part 2 and if you haven’t seen it, it is a must see. However I have a big surprise review for you. The Conjuring franchise has been only so-so but, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, is the best of the series. Based on a true story of Arne Johnson who was having drinks with his buddy Alan Bono back in 1981 and while drinking they got into an argument over a woman, it was no big deal. But a few hours later Johnson killed Bono and his defense at trial was, the devil made him do it. Disturbing Images, violent, spooky and terrifying (Rated R) – (Under 2 Hours) – (3 Stars).

Movie News: Taylor Swift will co-star with Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, Chris Rock,  Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, and Robert De Nio in a period piece directed by David O Russel. And don’t count Taylor Swift. Least you forget she appeared in a CSI, movies, The Given and Cats. Prediction, Taylor will do a lot more.

TV News: Jeopardy just keeps losing viewers and get worse with every new guest host. The highest ratings after Alex Trebek’s death were when Ken Jennings was the host. Now George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, Savannah Guthrie, Levar Burton and Joe Buck are already scheduled to guest host. Hopefully the ratings won’t go down with each host. The only thing for sure is a full time host will be named Labor Day. I say it’s Ken Jennings.

Odds and Ends: Gary Glitter, known for Rock and Roll, Part 2 may be released from prison despite 30 years of convictions for raping children, sad. …  Although cancer is always scary, I hear that Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood’s second bout with cancer is not life threatening and he will be fine. But like I said, always scary. … I’m excited, tomorrow I’m going to the Olympic Trials at the American Airline’s arena and will see, Simone Biles. Can’t wait, she is amazing. It will be televised on ABC-TV.
