Almost a month ago before there was talk of Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez break-up, I said that Ben Affleck had been calling J-Lo. Then they broke up and I said stay tuned for Bennifer. The day after J-Lo and A-Rod broke up, Ben flew from Boston to L.A. and was picked up by J-Lo. They were together all weekend long. Now TMZ is reporting they are just friends, how they know that I have no idea. Oh wait, yes I do, J-Lo’s public relations people told them that. Personally I don’t believe it, time will tell.
TV News: On Thursday, word was that NBC was shutting down, Young Rock, that the horrible show with horrible ratings was gone. In fact it has lost 52% of it’s audience, ranked #68 out of 100 and lost 70% of their sponsors. Then Friday morning after an emergency meeting with the producer and creator, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and NBC executives the show was renewed. Translation, the Rock has a lot of pull in Hollywood. … Got a great new series on Netflix for you, The Irregulars. Okay! … Shop Talk, Those crazy FM Morning guys. Mason and Remy have been doings mornings for years at WIL 92.3 in St. Louis. Mason Schreader so in love with his gig, had red/white and blue WIL 923 with a big star tattooed on his shoulder on Tuesday and was fired on Friday.
