First things first, it’s movie review Friday and opening today is, Together Together. Ed Helms stars and co-star is Patti Harrison, who F.Y.I. is trans. Helms plays a 40 year old dude who wants to have a baby, but doesn’t have a wife. Enter Patti as a surrogate. However as the pregnancy grows so does their relationship. But things get complicated when Ed learns Patti is still having sex with her boyfriend. Light and funny (3 Stars).
Speaking of movies, here is the Hollywood Reporters top five all time greatest movies #5 Pulp Fiction, #4 Shawshank Redemption, #3 Citizen Kane, #2 The Wizard of Oz, and #1 The Godfather.
Love Nugget: Hayden Panettiere’s ex husband, Brian Hickerson has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for beating her. I met Hayden at Obama’s Hawaii Inauguration party and what a sweetheart! But her first marriage to heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko was weird with reports Hayden abused him which resulted in divorce, how very weird.
Odds and Ends: Sharon Stone isn’t known as one of those stars that has had a lot of work done, but at 63 years of age she is gorgeous. Eats right and works out everyday. … I’m hoping for the best for Andy Dick, his new Podcast that he claims will show he’s changed, maybe true, but he’s said that 1,000 times. Good luck. … My Los Angeles Dodgers are doing something very different on Saturday. Opening a private section just for fans who can document they have received the vaccine. Smart.
My Super Bowl predictions are seldom right, that’s why I call them the Kiss of Death, however I’m usually 6 for 6 in picking the big six Oscar winners, and here we go.
