Movie Review Friday: I really didn’t think I would like, Boss Level, which debuts on Hulu today starring Mel Gibson, Frank Grillo, Naomi Watts and Michelle Yeoh. Another time warp movie but this one is much different. Our hero keeps waking up in the same bed, on the same day but it’s not to I Got You Babe and fun and games, our guy get’s murdered over and over again. We see him killed about 30 times from decapitation to being blown up to some ways that I can’t even explain. There’s a big twist and surprises that will blow your mind and for that I give it (3 Stars). … The best of the best, opening in theaters and on Disney+ Raya and The Last Dragon. If you liked Manoa and Frozen, you will love this. A baby, a funny dragon, and good versus evil. Funny with a message, charming and delightful. Fun for the whole family (4 Stars).
Been to a movie lately? These are the top 10 cities that have the most movie goers. #10 Boston, #9 Denver, #8 Detroit, #7 Atlanta, #6 Salt Lake City, #5 Phoenix, #4 Houston, #3 Chicago, #2 New York City, #1 Dallas. Interesting, Los Angeles ranks #17.
Movie News: Avatar is one of the biggest secrets in Hollywood history. We know James Cameron is shooting Avatar 2 and 3 at the same time. We know Avatar 2 is set for release this Christmas. We also know Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington and Vin Diesel will star and many cameos, but that’s it. Stay tuned.
Sports Shorts: The Dodgers home opener is April 9th against the Washington Nationals. While home openers are always a tough tickets, the fact the Dodgers will be giving out their 2020 World Championship rings and the first W.S. Pennant will be raised in 32 years. Because of that memorable moment, tickets are going for over $8,000 dollars! Ridiculous! I covered the Dodgers for 596 consecutive games, home and away, but got paid to do it!
