We start off with a very disturbing story, Britney Spears really believes her dad has stolen millions from her, she fears for her safety around him and is considering a restraining order against him! However, people very close to Britney say, truth be told, it’s more about Britney having a relapse, being overly paranoid and listening to trouble makers who want to control her. They say her dad has done nothing wrong.
TV News: There was a huge meeting yesterday between ABC TV and the producers of Jeopardy. And it got turbulent. ABC really wants George Stephanopoulos as the new host, Jeopardy producers really want Ken Jennings. ABC reminded the producers they own the rights to the show, producers reminded ABC they own the show! Is it true producers may wait till ABC’s rights expire and move the show unless Ken is named the new host? … Starting today, the Master’s golf Tourney is must see TV for golf fans. A lot of golfers will be watching Tiger, but I like Fowler, Matsuyama, Finau and Scott. Should be good.
Odds and Ends: Kris Jenner had a big but private 65th birthday last week and I got to tell you, love her or hate her, she looks 35, stunningly beautiful. Plastic surgery works. … For the second day this week people in L.A. were awoken by amber alerts, not about a lost child but Coronavirus alerts. Instructions to wear masks, keep social distancing and other advisories. And there will be more alerts, maybe of a lockdown to come. … So yesterday was Veteran’s Day and all week long is Remembrance week in the U.K. and the Queen quietly asked Harry to return for the ceremonies. Harry had planned to go but Meghan was against it, so he passed. Whipped, part of one. … And that reminds me of one of the greatest quotes regarding Veterans came in the film, Patton, from General Patton who said, “I want you to remember, that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor bastard die for his country.” A remembrance of how horrible war is.
