Pop Quiz: Yesterday I told you Food and Wine Magazines new list of the best celebrity tippers. Today, here’s the new list of the worst celebrity tippers, but who is the very worst? Is it Jeremy Piven, Michael Jordan, Madonna or Usher?
Today, it’s all about movies and we start off with The Lovebirds, currently on Netflix. Starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae. It’s a beautiful love story and murder story, the lovers search for the killer and there’s a ton of laughs, great movie. (PG-13) – (90 Minutes) – (3 Stars). … Next and just as good, Olympic Dreams with Nick Kroll and Alexi Pappas, based on true events and the first time a feature film was shot inside an Olympic Village. This one is the Winter Games in South Korea. Our two main characters arrive in Seoul to live their lifetime dream! She is a first time cross country skier, he’s a volunteer Village Dentist. When she finishes her event early, they end up hooking up, but both are novice about love, from different parts of the world, obviously approach love in different ways and a little scared. (3 Stars).
One of my biggest professional thrills was entertaining the athletes inside the Villages at the Los Angeles 84 Games.
Also on demand a great documentary, Nothing Fancy. It’s about an English woman, Diana Kennedy, moved to Mexico 70 years ago and became Mexico’s greatest chef. (3 Stars).
Here’s a 4 Star movie we’ll have to wait for! Tom Hanks next smash is Greyhound. The true story set during WW2. The Greyhound is the destroyer that escorted bigger ships into war zones. Hanks is the Captain, it’s his first assignment and it seems doomed from the get go. Fabulous story, all true and defiantly Oscar worthy. Coming soon. (Rated R) – (119 Minutes) – (4 Stars).
